Is UVA for real? I have my doubts, but here's what they've shown so far.

UVA Defense Might Be Frauds

UVA has allowed an average of 19.5 points per game through four games. However, the offenses they’ve faced don’t have the weapons that FSU has. The UVA defense has been great on third down, as we mentioned, but they allowed 5.36 yards per play.

Their defense allowed 216 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns against NC State on 35 carries (over 6.17 yards per rush). Their defense allows pass completions at 60.5 percent, 7.5 yards per attempt, and has allowed four passing touchdowns.

They have forced four turnovers(three fumble recoveries and one interception), and three of those came in their season opener against Coastal Carolina.

When in the red zone, teams have scored a touchdown on seven of eight possessions. They have nine sacks, and five of those came in the last game against Stanford. They have 21 tackles for a loss, and eight came against Stanford.

I’m just not a believer in their defense. I have more faith in Tony White stopping the UVA offense than UVA stopping the FSU offense.
