Same Tired Narratives
We feel like we’ve been writing the same articles for the past two seasons. At one point last season, we could literally copy an article, change the scores, opponents, and headline, and it would be the same article each week.
If it’s not turnovers, it’s poor execution. If it’s not dropped passes, it’s the quarterback making poor decisions or holding the ball too long.
Which FSU team will show up? Will this team quit on Mike Norvell? It’s probably a small percentage of fans, but some actively hope FSU loses because Mike Norvell is the coach.
The players don’t respect him because if they did, they’d play differently. Just look at what Edwin Joseph did at Stanford and then what he posted (and since deleted) after the Clemson loss.
FSU can’t get on the same page with the offense and defense. They refuse to play complementary football. It’s not a player-led team and hasn’t been for the past two years. If it hasn’t happened by now, it’s not going to, which leads me to recruiting.
