RB OUSMANE KROMAH

The Florida State Seminoles got a pleasant surprise during the Early Signing Period, where the program was able to lure away the talented former four-star running back Ousmane Kromah from Leesburg, Georgia, from the home-state Georgia Bulldogs.

We know how head football coach Kirby Smart operates on a national recruiting level. I have to give my respect to Coach Smart on the trail, as he usually gets most prospects that he prioritizes. However, the Seminoles were able to win the battle in the end.

With that said, I originally thought that Kromah was going to be the projected starter, even with him being a summer enrollee, since the Seminoles had the same running back rotation from a season ago that had one of the worst rushing attacks in 2024 (not wanting to throw shade towards the backs).

However, I believe that the coaching staff made the right decision to bring in former Oklahoma running back transfer Gavin Sawchuk to help the youngster get his feet wet in college. Kromah should still be in the game plan for 2025 to get a serviceable amount of carries.
