Florida State's 2025 recruiting class is in a weird spot as they lost their quarterback, all three of the pass catchers, and two defensive linemen. The 1-9 season has been forgettable for the fan base.

The one reason that some individuals think that Norvell can get over this slump is that he will be recruiting at a higher level. With that being said, the Seminoles have the 42nd-best recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Recruits want to see something go right and have young prospects to be excited about. Getting happy about a recruiting class where individuals break off their pledges is difficult. Recruiting is way different than it used to be (I sound like an old man typing this...).

Several commitments are participating in high school playoff action this weekend:

-4 star RB Byron Louis (vs Jensen Beach)

-4 star TE Chase Loftin (vs Kearney)

-5 star OL Solomon Thomas (vs Bay)

-4 star OL Mario Nash Jr. (vs Magee)

-4 star OL Peyton Joseph (vs Clarke Central)

-3 star OL Daniel Pierre Louis (N/A)

-4 star DL Kevin Wynn (vs Irwin County)

-3 star DL Mandrell Desir (vs Hialeah)

-3 star DL Darryll Desir (vs Hialeah)

-4 star LB Ethan Pritchard (vs Creekside)

-4 star DB Zae Thomas (vs Jensen Beach)

-3 star DB Max Redmon (vs Evangelical Christian)

Florida State fans had a jammed-packed Friday night watching all the commitments play their high school games. One prospect that I know individuals are excited about is four-star running back Byron Louis from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida.

Louis balled out last night in the loss to Jensen Beach High School, where he had three touchdowns. Unfortunately, it is the end of the talented back's high school career with the playoff loss. However, I know head football coach Mike Norvell and company are excited to have him in their backfield soon.
