RB OUSMANE KROMAH
Florida State's rushing attack was one of the worst in all of college football in 2024. The coaching staff thought that the running game was going to be a strength of the squad.
However, it seems like they sold the fan base a false hope as everything crashed. I thought that Alabama transfer Roydell Williams would have been the workhorse back, but he suffered a significant injury early in the season.
There was a promise with Lawrance Toafili (who is now graduated) and true freshman Kameron Davis, but it was not good enough. The running game was supposed to be the calling card for head football coach Mike Norvell with his game plan.
He then hires former UCF head football coach Gus Malzahn as the offensive coordinator. Malzahn's offenses have always been known for running the football. The Knights lead on workhorse RJ Harvey.
Florida State grabbed four-star Ousmane Kromah in the 2025 cycle after he was leaning towards signing with the home-state Georgia Bulldogs. I know it is a ton to ask from a true freshman, but he was very productive in high school. With the same running back room, it looks like four-star Ousmane Kromah could take control.
