RB OUSMANE KROMAH

I think this could be classified as a bold take since true freshman Ousmane Kromah isn't a surefire starter at the running back position. Plus, it isn't a guarantee to suggest that Kromah, who enrolled at Florida State in the summer, would be someone who could be a rushing leader.

However, the coaching staff cannot deny that they have a great piece to build around on offense. There are many on the staff and on the roster who believe that Kromah is in a world of his own.

Coach Malzahn loves to run the football, and Florida State wants to redeem itself from only averaging 89.9 rushing yards per game during the 2024 season. Malzahn expressed to the media that it will likely only be three backs at max that he will use.

That should be a mix of Ousmane Kromah, Gavin Sawchuk, and Roydell Williams, but I believe that Kromah will emerge as the starter in the backfield. I think the Georgia native could have the same impact as Cam Akers did as a true freshman in 2017.

Once fans see him utilize his speed, versatility, and power versus Alabama, they will be big believers.
