RB MICAHI DANZY

Florida State got two talented running back prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle with four-star prospects Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy.

It seems like Davis gets a bulk of the discussion since he and Lawrance Toafili split the carries in the offense last year when Jaylin Lucas and Roydell Williams got sidelined with injuries.

Davis was a powerful back who showed the physical nature of his running style. However, some fans were convinced that he couldn't break many tackles. It is good to note that he is a young back who plays quarterback a ton in high school, so he is still learning to play the position full-time.

Davis should be in the mix, and I also mentioned in a previous article that 2025 four-star signee Ousmane Kromah has the potential to be a starting running back. However, I do believe that Micahi Danzy could be a sleeping giant. The former four-star prospect got some burn last year, especially when he got the huge wheel route reception versus Charleston Southern.

Danzy is a Tallahassee native with track speed that you cannot teach. The motto for Florida State is that this is an offense that is "Built for Playmakers." It is time for those playmakers to emerge, and the youngster can be a weapon in the backfield and the slot.
