CB DEION SANDERS

With Florida State's recent struggles on the field, I heard some fans revert to hiring former defensive back and current Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders. I know that Stephen A. Smith made headlines recently when he suggested that the Seminoles should hire him.

While I won't go back down the rabbit hole with discussing the topic again, I will say that Prime Time has to be on the list of the spookiest players in Seminoles' football program history.

He caused havoc to opposing wide receivers back during his playing days. Sanders had 14 career interceptions in his four-year playing career with Florida State where three of them were returned for touchdowns.

Sanders was the real deal when he played for the Seminoles from 1985-1988. It was a shame that he did not get the opportunity to play for Florida State in the 1990s to compete for national champions. However, I know that Prime Time is grateful for his time at Florida State (even though he doesn't express it much).
