WR MICAHI DANZY
Sophomore Micahi Danzy made the position switch from running back to wide receiver this offseason. The fan base didn't care what position Danzy played as long as it was a requirement that he got the football in his hands.
The reality was that the 2024 offense lacked explosiveness. Danzy has game-changing speed, with a collegiate 400-meter time that would be competitive enough for him to compete in the Olympics. The coaching staff only utilized him on two-wheel routes last season against Clemson and Charleston Southern.
This was frustrating to watch because the Seminoles' offense could've put points on the scoreboard if they had allowed him to break contain on opposing defenses. The Golden Flashes found out the hard way as the Tallahassee native had 176 total yards and a touchdown.
Danzy will need to touch the football when the Seminoles travel to Charlottesville to play Virginia on Friday night. Speed is the name of the game when discussing him.
