QB Jordan Travis

If the Florida State Seminoles want the opportunity to knock off their arch-rivals for the third straight year, they will need redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis to step up to the plate. It seems like every week that I am including the West Palm Beach (FL) native to my impact players article, but Travis is just that important to the success of this football team.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the talented signal caller is tied for third in his odds to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy. During the Pittsburgh victory, he had himself a wonderful performance where he completed 22 of his 36 passes for 360 yards and one touchdown.

The Hurricanes’ defensive unit does a fantastic job in generating exotic pressure. They are No. 9 in the FBS  in tackles for loss (7.6 per game). Travis and company will need to stay ahead of the chains to have a great level of success.
