THOUGHTS

This No. 4 ranking has been consistent with what we have seen from the AP polls that have been releasing. While I completely understand the frustration from the fanbase that the Seminoles are ranked where they are, but if head football coach Mike Norvell and company win their remaining games then everything will take care of itself.

I can see fans frustrated with the fact that Michigan is ranked above Florida State since the Wolverines have played the likes of East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, Rutgers, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana, and Michigan State. They still have to face off against Purdue, Penn State, Maryland, and Ohio State

We will find out who head football coach Jim Harbaugh and company are after those four contests.

As it pertains to the Seminoles, Florida State has quality wins over LSU, Clemson (even with the 4-4 season), Virginia Tech (never thought I would be saying that) and Duke. However, there have been media members that have been skeptical of the Seminoles’ performances this season. Most notably, Florida State’s 31-29 road victory versus the Boston College Eagles.

With that being said, this football team continues to showcase their ability to win games no matter the circumstances. This is something that Norvell has been preaching to his squad. They have showcase their ability to response to every situation.

It all starts with redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis, who currently has the fourth-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy (according to DraftKings). The signal caller had one of his best games of the season in the Seminoles’ 41-16 victory over Wake Forest where he completed 22 of his 35 passes for 359 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seminoles are primed to have a memorable month of November.
