Unleash QB Jordan Travis

Florida State redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis has had a solid statistical season thus far. He has completed 142 of his 218 passes for 1,750 yards with 15 touchdowns and only two interceptions.

He has also showcased his dual-threat ability where he has had 50 rushing attempts for 176 yards and five touchdowns.

What makes the West Palm Beach (FL) native so special is his determination to win football games no matter the cost. When the game was on the line in the fourth quarter against the Duke Blue Devils, Travis did whatever it took to give his team the victory.

The Seminoles’ offense went on to score 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win the contest by a score of 38-20. Travis had a good second half passing performance where he utilized the middle of the field and took what the defense was giving him (contrary to what he did in the first half with the pick-six that he learned from).

This could be a game where the talented signal caller could make an impact. The Demon Deacons rank No. 83 in the FBS in passing yards allowed (238.6 passing yards allowed), which could allow wide receiver Keon Coleman the opportunity to be successful.

This could be just exactly what the doctor ordered as Travis hopes to accomplish the feat of being invited to New York for this year’s Heisman Trophy ceremony.
