FSU football will take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the hostile environment of Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday, October 28th at 12:00 PM EST.

Wake Forest has defeated Florida State three straight times. The Demon Deacons came into Doak Campbell Stadium last year and defeated the Seminoles by a score of 31-21 with the assistance of do-it-all quarterback Sam Hartman.

Fortunately, Hartman transferred to Notre Dame and this Demon Deacons has some deficiencies offensively. It has been a quarterback carousel mess for the Wake Forest offense as of late.

They turned to their third-string quarterback Santino Marucci, who completed 12 of his 21 passes for 151 yards to go along with one touchdown and two interceptions. Even though Wake Forest defeated Pittsburgh by a score of 21-17, that could be an issue going forward.

That is likely a reasoning behind Florida State currently being listed as a 20-point favorite against Wake Forest. The Seminoles are coming off a string of impressive victories over LSU, Clemson, and Duke this season with the help of one of their leaders (quarterback Jordan Travis) while the Demon Deacons seem to be reeling.

However, this is not the time to get comfortable with taking that football team easily. The Demon Deacons are 4-3 on the season with losses to Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, but they will still give their A+ effort versus Florida State at home.

The Seminoles have five regular season games left to go as they will take on Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Miami, North Alabama, and Florida. Plus, it seems likely that they will also get an opportunity to play in the ACC Championship for the first time since 2014.

Hopefully, this football team will take it one step at a time and look to care of business against Wake Forest in a sleepy noon road kickoff.
