QB Jordan Travis

Yes, I get it… Another week where I feature redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis in an impact player article. However, the truth of the matter is that Travis is so beneficial to the success of this football team. His dual-threat ability will be key if the Seminoles hope to beat a top-25 opponent in the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday.

The veteran signal caller has had a successful season thus far for the Seminoles. While it hasn’t been up to Heisman Trophy winning standards, he is still listed as the fourth-best odds to win the award, according to DraftKings.

I know that there are rival Florida Gator fans out there comparing Travis and Mertz statistically, but they have to understand that the Seminoles have had the luxury of sitting starters in the second half, while the Gators have been in closer contests. The moral of the story is that Travis does whatever it takes to get his team the victory.
