1. Defense

Defense played their best game of the year so far, holding the Orange to three points to help secure the Florida State win. By forcing many 3-and-outs and pressuring the backfield, the defensive line set the tone for the entire game, including a sack, fumble, and recovery which boosted momentum for the Seminoles even more.

Pass coverage was also excellent as the secondary forced many incompletions, which ended many offensive drives for the Orange. Being notorious for game-ending interceptions, it wasn’t surprising that Greedy Vance sealed the deal with the interception.

Defense wins championships cannot be said enough. If the defense plays like this in every game, they will lead the Seminoles to multiple championships, putting the icing on the cake this season.
