2. Running Game

With some of the most talented running backs in the country, including Trey Benson and Lawrance Toafili, many were anxious for them to find their rhythm this season. After the running game finally picked up last week against Virginia Tech, Florida State continued to find success running the ball against Syracuse.

Powerhouse running back Trey Benson had another solid game with 14 carries and 74 yards. It wasn’t his best game, but a key player. Lawrance Toafili hit the scene with seven carries 93 yards, and a touchdown. This has been his most productive game so far this season.

To no surprise, Jordan Travis was in on the running game too, with two rushing touchdowns of his own. Being just as dangerous with his legs, Jordan Travis has proven to be one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in college football.

The young freshman Hykeem Williams also got in on the action in the fourth quarter with his first touchdown of his college career as a Seminole. Without a doubt, the future is bright for this young stud.
Hopefully, the running game will continue to flourish for this talented FSU offense.
