CB Renardo Green

While I could chose a ton of players on defense such as defensive end Jared Verse, defensive tackle Braden Fiske, linebacker Kalen DeLoach, and others, I elected to roll with the veteran cornerback Renardo Green.

I believe that Green had played phenomenal this season at the cornerback position and deserved some much-needed recognition. The defensive back has recorded 18 total tackles, three passes defenders, one interception, and 0.5 sacks.

To put that into perspective, the veteran defender Green was responsible of defending the likes of Virginia Tech’s leading wide receiver Da’quan Felton, who had four receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown in their 38-21 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers. However, when facing over against Renardo Green, the pass catcher did not record a catch.

The redshirt senior has certainly been the heartbeat of the Seminoles’ defensive backfield.
