FSU football: Who will emerge in the slot WR position for the Noles?
Ja’Khi Douglas
The Florida State Seminoles received some positive news recently where head football coach Mike Norvell stated that redshirt junior wide receiver Ja’Khi Douglas has returned from injury. The Louisiana native has not made an appearance this season.
Through all of the discussion about the slot wide receiver woes, Douglas is a familiar weapon that quarterback Jordan Travis is comfortable with. The veteran playmaker has made his presence felt during his time in Tallahassee where he recorded ten receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns last season. Then he recorded a combined 21 catches and 371 yards and three touchdowns.
