ADAM FULLER’S ADJUSTMENTS IN SECOND HALF WERE AGGRESSIVE

Fans were ready to get their Twitter fingers ready at halftime as the Seminoles were trailing by a score of 17-14 against Clemson. But defensive coordinator Adam Fuller had a game plan in place for the second half, which included making opposing quarterback Cade Klubnik uncomfortable.

The Seminoles’ defensive unit only allowed the Tigers to score seven points in the second half/overtime. The highlight of the game that to be when veteran linebacker Kalen DeLoach laid a massive hit on Klubnik, which caused him to fumble and the Savannah (GA) native was able to pick the football up and return it for a 56-yard touchdown to tie the game at 24 late in the third quarter.

The defensive pressure revved up as the game progressed. If the Seminoles’ defensive unit can impose its will on opponents throughout the entirety of the game, it can be a scary proposition for what this football team’s potential could be. Nonetheless, the defense responded when it mattered most.
