WE’RE 4-0 AND YET TO PLAY OUR BEST GAME

There is never a bad victory in college football. Teams must take the wins while they can. While it hasn’t been perfect for the Seminoles, they are currently sitting with a 4-0 record, which includes wins over LSU, Southern Miss, Boston College, and Clemson.

The offense has averaged over 43 points per game. Quarterback Jordan Travis has performed well at times this season. However, the running game has been a mixed bag of results, with former transfer Trey Benson still trying to find his rhythm.

Defensively, coordinator Adam Fuller and company have responded when it matters most. However, opposing offenses have had their opportunities for explosive plays early on in contests before the unit is able to settle itself down.

While it has not been perfect by any means, FSU fans and individuals associated with the program will still celebrate the fact that they remain undefeated heading into the bye week. This gives the coaching staff and players an opportunity to reflect upon the positives and negatives that transpired within the past four weeks.
