FSU football: Five players that need more opportunities to be successful
FSU football is coming off a thrilling victory against the Boston College Eagles on Saturday, where they won the contest by a score of 31-29. The team had to battle through times of adversity and hardship after nearly blowing a 31-10 lead late in the third quarter.
Nonetheless, the Seminoles possess a 3-0 record with wins over LSU, Southern Miss, and Boston College. The road does not get much easier as they play the likes of Clemson, Duke, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Miami, and Florida to close the season. However, when the offseason was happening, many individuals pointed to two contests on Florida State’s schedule: LSU and Clemson.
The Seminoles handled their business against the Tigers where they defeated them by a score of 45-24. Head football coach Mike Norvell always emphasizes not looking ahead and becoming 1-0 every week. While this season has not been perfect for FSU, they have managed to weather the storm and perform at an optimal level.
As we enter deeper into the Clemson matchup for this weekend, I want to focus on five players on the Seminoles’ roster that I believe should have more opportunities going forward.
