Reason 1 For Winning 12: Upgraded Roster

The more and more I review this roster, the more I believe this team can be special. I’ll argue that the Noles got better at every position, except for safety on defense, with All-ACC Jammie Robinson going to the Carolina Panthers.

However, they have two experienced guys returning, and Shyheim Brown played snaps last season, although he wasn’t a starter.

FSU has six of the top 100 players in college football. They have 14 players listed on the Senior Bowl Watch List. They have a ton of players who made All-ACC teams in some capacity last season returning.

They will feature more talent than every team on the schedule, aside from LSU and Clemson. FSU addressed the issues that played the offense in their three losses. They improved the offensive line and brought in more playmakers at the skill positions.

They improved the depth along the defensive line, which was the biggest concern once Fabien Lovett missed several games with an injury.

They arguably have the best roster depth since the 2014 team. I expect FSU to blow many teams out, which means the starters should be fresh for the majority of the season.
