FSU football players Jared Verse and Jordan Travis have signed national NIL deals with some major brands. Jared Verse signed with Powerade, and Jordan Travis signed with Beats By Dre.

Coca Cola returns to the NIL landscape via Powerade, signing five college football players: FSU defensive end Jared Verse, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Georgia cornerback Malaki Starks, USC wide receiver Mario Williams, Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson.

The players are apart of a 30-second video ad that will air on September 3rd and likely get shown during the LSU vs. FSU game in primetime.

The ad is below:

Jordan Travis is part of the “Beats Elite” class, which consists of 15 college players:  Cade Klubnik, Clemson (QB), Shedeur Sanders, Colorado (QB), Caleb Williams, USC (QB), DJ Uiagalelei, Oregon State (QB), Jalen Milroe, Alabama (QB), Jayden Daniels, LSU (QB), J McCarthy, Michigan (QB), Joe Milton, Tennessee (QB), Jordan Travis, Florida State (QB), Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama (DB), Malaki Starks, Georgia (DB), Michael Penix, Washington (QB), Nick Singleton, Penn State (RB), Quinn Ewers, Texas (QB), and Sam Hartman, Notre Dame (QB).

Thoughts

Besides these being national brands, there are two things I notice right off the bat. The first is Jared Verse is drinking Powerade, not Gatorade, which I’m sure FSU defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins is proud of.

The second is I don’t see any Miami or Florida players listed in either ad. For all of the recruits reading this or watching the video, it’s easy to see why FSU football should be the move. Mike Norvell says it all the time.

It’s where starts come to shine, but now that can be applied to on and off the field. FSU vs. LSU will be the only college football game on TV September 3rd. It’s the second year in a row the two teams have met, and this year’s game is between two top 10 teams.
