Miami media have been lying to its fans the entire recruiting cycle. I knew Miami was in trouble when they started accepting commits from random three-star guys. I noted their blue-chip ratio in May also:

The problem was they were accepting so many three-stars, I knew they didn’t have the juice to get the big whales they were after.

The argument became the three-stars they had were underrated and would receive a fourth star at some point. Well, only seven of their 21 commits are blue-chip players for a resounding 33 percent blue-chip ratio.

So like 90 percent of those three-stars haven’t received a ratings increase. However, several FSU players that were already blue-chip commits have received a ranking boost.
