Darren Lawrence ranks as the No. 492 player and No. 69 wide receiver nationally. He ranks as the No. 86 player in the Sunshine State and checks in at 6’2″ and 190 pounds. FSU football has crazy depth at the wide receiver position, with big-body receivers like Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman, Darrion Williamson, and Kentron Poitier slotted to get major playing time in 2023. The receiver position is notorious for its difficulty in young players acclimating to the college game. I expect Lawrence to spend the redshirting and learning the fine points of the position and the offense. Not to mention, two freshman receivers (Hykeem Williams and Vandrevius Jacobs) enrolled in January and already have a head start on him.. WR. Seminole HS, Sanford, FL. DARREN LAWRENCE. 3-Star
