4-Star. Samuel Singleton ranks as the No. 386 player and No. 27 running back nationally. He ranks as the No. 71 player in the Sunshine State and checks in at 5’11” and 185 pounds. Samuel Singleton was the lone running back signee in the class. He isn’t expected to contribute too much as a freshman in a loaded running back room. Trey Benson, Lawrance Toafili, and redshirt freshman Rodney Hill will get the bulk of the action. I expect Singleton to fill a role similar to Hill last season, getting bigger and strong, while learning the offense. They might get him in a couple of games to gain some experience, but they have more than enough depth for him not to burn a redshirt. He has very good speed, but will need to learn patience and how to set up his blocks to take advantage of his home run hitting ability.. RB. Fleming Island High School, Orange Park, FL.
