FSU football recruiting never stops in the offseason, especially for Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line Alex Atkins. While the Seminoles do not have any offensive linemen prospects committed to the program, it seems good news is coming. As I mentioned in a previous article, it feels as though talented offensive linemen such as Jason Zandamela, Jonathan Daniels, and Manasse Itete are trending positively toward FSU. All three blue-chip prospects will officially visit Tallahassee on June 23rd for the big recruiting weekend.

Another prospect joining the June 23rd weekend visitor list is three-star offensive tackle Tye Hylton from Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Florida. FSU has its work cut out, as arch-rivals Miami (June 9-11) and Florida (June 16-18) have also scheduled official visits. However, just like the official visit schedule with four-star safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr., it certainly helps that the Seminoles will be the last of the three official visits.

This official visit will allow the coaching staff to take a better look at Hylton. The tackle prospect received his offer on January 21, 2023. Since that offer, he made trips back to Tallahassee on March 10th and April 15th. After the 2023 season, redshirt senior offensive linemen Bless Harris, Casey Roddick, and D’Mitri Emmanuel will not return for the Seminoles. Not to mention, offensive linemen such as Jeremiah Byers, Robert Scott Jr., Maurice Smith, Keiondre Jones, Thomas Shrader, and Darius Washington will be redshirt seniors in 2024. As a result, FSU will need to keep acquiring talent in the position room.

On the defensive side of the football, Class of 2024 three-star cornerback Kevin Levy from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Florida, announced on Twitter that he will be officially visiting Florida State from June 16-18.

Levy has an official visit scheduled that consists of Louisville (June 9-11), Florida State (June 16-18), and Illinois (June 23-25). He previously scheduled to officially visit Kentucky on June 16th, but he ultimately decided to cancel the visit with the Wildcats and utilize it on the Seminoles. The arch-rival Florida Gators are also in this recruitment as they currently have one crystal ball prediction from Swamp247 Florida Insider Blake Alderman with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 from March 8, 2023. The talented South Florida athlete caught 19 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns on offense and made 23 tackles with three pass breakups on defense last season.

Disclaimer: This official visit from Levy does not mean that the Seminoles are falling out of the recruitment for five-star cornerback prospect Charles Lester III.
