All offseason to prepare for LSU to set the tone

The Noles opened the 2022 season with a win over Duquesne, which was the first season-opening win since the 2016 season.

That warm-up game likely has the Noles an edge as they matched up against LSU in the following week.
It was the first game of the year for LSU and they threw everything they had at the Noles from a defensive standpoint, and FSU should have won the game by two touchdowns.

FSU will meet the Tigers in a neutral site game in the season opener this year. We could say FSU had all offseason to prepare for LSU last year since they opened with Duquesne.

What I like most about this is the Noles will come into this game 100 percent healthy. It’ll likely be a pro-FSU crowd in Orlando, and expectations will be through the roof.

A win against LSU gives the Noles a huge boost from a perception standpoint and likely a confidence boost, knowing they’ll travel to play Clemson in a big-time atmosphere in a couple of weeks.

A win here and the hype will be at  its highest point since the 2014 season.
