FSU football will travel to Hard Rock Stadium, a.k.a. Doak South Saturday night for a chance to win their second straight game in the series against the Miami Hurricanes.

FSU enters the game a touchdown betting favorite, which most pundits have picked the Noles to win and cover.

I think the chances of FSU covering the spread and betting Miami by double digits is higher than Miami winning the game outright.

Our preview and prediction for the game can be found here.

FSU football vs. Miami: The Weather

Saturday will have a high of 85 degrees, with temperatures closer to mid 70s around kickoff and 76 percent humidity. There is a 40 percent chance of rain later in the night with an east wind blowing around 10 mph.

The game is officially a sellout according the Miami Hurricanes, but I’d imagine a large portion of those tickets will be FSU football fans in attendance.

FSU football vs. Miami: Betting Odds

The Noles are betting favorites in this matchup, with the over/under coming in at 53. That implies a 30-23 outcome in the game. I wrote about how the Miami faithful have no faith and pray they can avoid a blowout loss.

Miami has a solid defensive line, but a lot of holes elsewhere, while the Noles have played at least three or four defenses better than Miami’s.

FSU will be the best defense they’ve faced all season. An FSU victory secures their first bowl bid some the 2019 season and puts Miami in a spot where they have to win two of their next three games to become bowl eligible in Mario Cristobal’s first year. Miami fans talked a lot of crap after FSU beat them last year and how they were thankful that got Manny Diaz fired.

Now I wonder what the excuse will be if and when the Noles beat them again?
