Parting Thoughts

This FSU football team has the potential to be really good if it could get out of its own way. They can’t keep turning the ball over against good teams.

They can’t have 13 penalties for 104 yards against good teams. They can’t keep wasting prime scoring opportunities when they begin offensive drives near mid-field. The good news? Miami is awful, and FSU gets to play them next week.

Syracuse looks like who I’ve been saying they are all year after losing to Notre Dame Saturday. Louisiana will be a win, and we’ll see what Florida has left after three touchdowns against Georgia Saturday.

There is absolutely no reason this team shouldn’t go 3-1 at minimum. They have most of their starters back on defense, and while they still miss Treshaun Ward on offense, they are good enough to score 30-35+ points on every opponent left on the schedule.

That’s probably more than enough to win those games. Here’s to hoping they got all of the rust knocked off coming out of the bye-week, and they prepare to go to Miami and welcome Mario Cristobal with an L.
