Mike Norvell Has To Make A Change At Field Goal Kicker

I don’t like to write negative things about our players, but I’m not writing anything I wouldn’t say to Ryan Fitzgerald if he were my son.

He’s been bad, so bad I think it’s time for Mike Norvell to give someone else a shot or to change how he’s calling plays in certain areas on the field.

If you’ve read my work before, the latter is something I’ve been advocating for because we can’t trust Fitzgerald from any distance over like 30-yards.

Fitzgerald is now 3 of 6 on the season, and had a crucial miss in the LSU game. He missed two field goals Friday night which could have cost the Noles the game.

Mike Norvell either must decide he’ll begin calling plays like it’s four-down territory, or give someone else a shot.

I know players want to support one-another, but they must also know Norvell will hold you accountable if you’re doind doing your job.
