About Mississippi State

According to NoleGameDay, Parson communicated with the staff he plans to visit Mississippi State. It’s an unofficial visit, and he’s clear in his plans that he will not workout for their coaches.

The Bulldogs is one of the schools that have offered him recently, and it’s also where both of his parents are alumni.

I can understand him wanting to visit to a degree, but I wonder if he’d be taking this visit if the Noles didn’t have four-star QB and Purdue commit Ricky Collins in for an official visit on the same weekend?

Collins is one of two targets recently offered, and Collins almost immediately scheduled his official visit to Tallahasee after receiving it. I would watch for is Parson visiting other schools after visiting Mississippi State next weekend.

Parson has an official visit to take to FSU at some point and will participate in the Elite 11 Finals in late June.

The last weekend in June is when FSU football will have a lot of their top targets on campus. It would be optimal to have Parson there to help recruit those targets, but we’ll see if that happens.
