Defensive Line

The coaching staff brought in a solid group of defensive linemen in 2022. I don’t think any of them will play significant minutes this season, but they have the potential to develop into major contributors. They had two defensive tackles and a defensive end, and will look to bring in a similar number in the 2023 class.

Keldric Faulk: Faulk ranks as the No. 111 player and No. 14 defensive lineman. This recruitment is going to be a battle with Faulk holding 30 offers. He’s visited FSU a number of times, including twice this spring and plans to officially visit on June 24 as part of a major recruiting weekend. He hails from Alabama, and will visit Clemson, Auburn, and Florida before getting to Tallahassee. (Committed to FSU on 7/5)

Jordan Hall: Hall ranks as the No. 211 player and No. 29 defensive lineman. The Jacksonville product has been on campus once this spring, with two visits last year, including the Miami game. He has been on Florida’s campus three times this spring and set for an official visit to USC next week. Hall wants to see FSU continue to make progress on the field, so I expect his recruit to go on through the season unless he commits elsewhere beforehand.

-TJ Searcy: Searcy ranks as the No. 245 player and No. 34 defensive lineman nationally. The Peach State product has visted twice this spring and last summer, with FSU among the first to offer a scholarship. He has official visits set for Clemson, Florida, and South Carolina this month. It’ll be interesting to see if the Noles can get him on campus relatively soon. (Committed to UF)

-Wilky Denaud: Denaud ranks as the No. 286 player and No. 39 defensive lineman nationally. Denaud received an offer in February and visited the campus in March and April. (Committed to Auburn on 7-27)
