Offensive Line

The FSU coaching staff had one of the better offensive line hauls in recent FSU history last recruiting cycle and could add 1-2 more from the transfer portal before 2022 completes. That means the coaching staff can be relatively selective for 2023, and FSU offensive coordinator/OL coach, Alex Atkins has already zeroed in on a few quality targets.

Lucas Simmons: Simmons ranks as the No. 173 player and No. 18 OT nationally. Simmons has been on campus three times this spring and has four official visits set up in June, with FSU getting the last visit before plans to announce his commitment decision. (Committed to FSU on 7/11)

Roderick Kearney: Kearney ranks as the No. 163 player and No. 8 interior OL nationally. He has been to FSU several times since receiving an offer last year. Kearney named FSU his leader this spring, and is building a great relationship with Alex Atkins. (Committed to FSU on 6/26)

Kelton Smith: Smith ranks as the No. 249 player and No. 11 interior OL nationally. He has visited last fall and twice this spring as the coaching staff looks to get him in for an official visit at some point.

Simmons hails from in-state, and both Kearney and Smith hail from Georgia.
