Recovery and Who Steps Up?

Healing time will depend on where the injury took place. Is it the upper or lower leg, tibia, fibula? Is it a hairline break or compound fracture?

Either way, it’s going to take weeks or months for the injury to heal more than likely. I hope it’s not the case because Wright was counting on playing well this upcoming year and entering the NFL Draft.

However, if he can’t play or will miss a lot of time? Who does FSU football have to step up to help feel that void?

Sophomore Malik McClain seems to be making strides in spring practice. Transfers Mycah Pittman and Johnny Wilson have flashed in the early parts of spring practice.

Ja’Khi Douglas has done well through the first four practices, and there’s a host of other guys that have been at FSU for quite some time trying to break through for more playing time.

Mike Norvell mentioned Darion Williamson by name. Jordan Young, Kentron Poitier, and Ontaria Wilson are still battling. The good news is the talent infusion made guys step up and compete for their spots more than ever before.
