FSU football will begin spring practice next week. These 15 practices are critical in determining how successful Mike Norvell and the coaching staff will be in 2022.

It will be the second complete spring practice they’ll have under Mike Norvell, and it’ll be the first spring practice for over 20 newcomers that joined the program this spring.

It’ll be a prime opportunity for the freshmen to assert themselves in the program.

For the transfers, it’ll be their time to learn the intricacies of their roles on the team. It’ll be an opportunity to gain the trust and respect of their teammates even though they may have produced at their prior institutions.

All of that goes out of the window, and they must prove it all over again at this new destination. The coaches will have opportunities to see where they excel and where their limitations may lie so they can form plans to address those limitations over the summer and fall camp.

Some positional groups come into this year more proven than others. Let’s look at three positional groups with a lot to prove in 2022.
