FSU football: Thoughts on Ron Dugans and Odell Haggins extensions

FSU football head coach Mike Norvell has made some tough and unpopular decisions during his tenure.
From players removed from the program to in-game decisions, but more recently, the decision to bring two coaches back for the 2022 season as their current contracts expired at the end of January.
FSU defensive line coach Odell Haggins and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans. Both coaches came from the previous staff, with Haggins coaching at FSU well before then.
Both players are FSU alum who have seen their fair share of criticism over the past three or four seasons.
Don't have details for the contracts yet but an #FSU representative confirms that DTs coach Odell Haggins and WRs coach Ron Dugans have both signed extensions.

Their existing contracts were set to expire today.
The criticism has been fair, both on and off the field, but some have been without context. Of course, fans are not privy to everything behind the scenes and fail to remove the emotions of players underperforming or playing with injuries.
The game isn’t a video game where you can insert the next player and expect them to play at the same level without some dropoff.
However, at the same time, the coaches are responsible for the quality and development of those players. Let’s delve into why Odell Haggins and Ron Dugans return in 2022.
