Bye Week Before Traveling To Louisville

Who knows how the LSU game will go, as there are several unanswered questions about that game. However, the Louisville game afterward will be pivotal to the FSU program.

Louisville returns starting quarterback Malik Cunningham, one of the better ones in the ACC, and the game will be on a Friday night. T

he Noles have the benefit of playing Louisville coming off of a bye week, which will provide an extra week to prepare for the Cardinals.

That will be more time to dissect film, game-plan, and allow any nagging bumps and bruises from a physical LSU game to heal.

It’s not ideal on a Friday night on the road in a place that can be tough to play. However, they have to travel to Central Florida the week before hosting FSU.

FSU had to travel to Louisville regardless, so I’d trade giving them a night game if FSU football could get the bye-week before playing them.

I’m not going to say it’s a must-win game, but a win puts FSU in great shape to finish September with a winning record for the first time since 2016.
