FSU football: 5 huge positives from 2022 ACC schedule release

The ACC Conference released its 2022 schedule Monday night as FSU football learned the hand it was dealt.

In real-time, as the schedule unfolded, I wasn’t a huge fan and felt like the ACC was sticking it to the Noles once again.

However, I collected my thoughts and recorded the Built For Playmakers Podcast and felt better about things as I talked my way through the schedule.

In case you missed it, the schedule is below:

There are some uncommon things like two bye-weeks and two Friday night games. However, overall, I believe the schedule is favorable, aside from a stretch right in the middle.

There are some games FSU will be favored and should absolutely win. Other games will likely be 50/50, but I don’t think there’s any game where FSU will be more than a 10-point underdog.

That’s something that FSU football fans wouldn’t have been able to say for the last three years. I wrote about where certain games and bye-weeks fell on the schedule, influencing the potential wins and losses. Here are five huge positives from the 2022 FSU football schedule.
