Offensively

Offensively the Noles have averaged 77 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor overall. They’ve also made 36 percent of their three-point shots.

That’s about where their season average is overall and slightly above their average for three-pointers. However, the biggest improvements have been in rebounding, free throws, and turnovers.

The Noles are +27 overall and +33 on the offensive boards. They are only averaging 9.8 turnovers per game, which is five fewer than their season average. They averaged 21.6 free throw attempts and made 69.8. percent.

KenPom ranks the Noles as the No. 80 offense nationally, so there’s quite a bit of room for improvement. There are still moments of poor shot selection and lack of offensive movement in the halfcourt setting. Then again, they have missed a ton of wide open shots, Tuesday’s game against Duke was a prime example.

However, that’s where not turning the ball over and crashing the offensive boards make up for some of their inefficiencies.

They’ve also played four teams ranked in the top 65 nationally in defense. I suspect the more experience they get on the court together, the more efficient they’ll become.
