Win Games

There’s no question FSU football has to win games in 2022. Those close losses in 2021? They have to turn into some wins, returning a player that made All-ACC first-team should help with that.

It also speaks to how players view what Mike Norvell is building in Tallahassee that they are not rushing to the NFL.

The FSU defense will have leadership at every level, with Robert Cooper on the defensive line, Kalen DeLoach at linebacker, and Jammie Robinson in the secondary.

There’s decent depth on the d-line, and the addition to Tatum Bethune strengthens the linebacker spot, and enough young guys emerged to help provide some depth in the FSU secondary.

There’s no reason the defense shouldn’t be top 30 or better with another year of development and continuity.

I thought the defense played well enough for FSU to win at least seven games in 2021, so if the offense can show life more consistently in 2022?

I think FSU could surprise some people and win enough games to make a bowl or better.
