FSU recruiting: Things to watch between now and Early Signing Day
By Kelvin Hunt
Who Visits Elsewhere And Social Media
If a target visits elsewhere this weekend, I wouldn’t say it’s definitive they won’t choose FSU. It could be they’ve visited FSU several times already, but it’s something to keep an eye on.
I know FSU coaches have visited tons of targets over the past week and will likely have more visits scheduled over the coming days. FSU recruiting plans to visit Wesley Bissainthe again this week, according to Noles247.
Time will be of the essence over the next week, and coaches will likely concentrate on those they feel are the greatest need and who they have the best shot to land. Social media is another thing to pay attention to if you’re into recruiting like that.
Players are hip to the game, and l try to play several fan bases because this will likely be the last time they have this much attention on themselves. However, if you see a player consistently tweeting about one particular program more than others, that’s something to pay attention to down the stretch.
This next week will tell everyone a lot about where they stand. Can FSU recruiting crack the top 10? Florida has made a couple of good hires, so will that be enough to resurrect them from their No. 76 ranking?
Miami is riding the momentum from surprising most folks with their money splurge to lure Mario Cristobal away from Oregon. How much can Cristobal accomplish in the next week? The good news is we’ll have answers to all of these questions in less than a week.
