Who’s Visiting Tallahassee

One of the most important things in a player’s recruitment is visiting campus. The more they visit, the higher probability the player will sign with that team.

There’s a bit of a difference between high school players and players from the transfer portal. Of course, the relationship between coaches and high school players is usually longer.

Players from the transfer portal have a shorter time frame and may only visit one time before deciding.

We’ll see both in action this weekend when Oregon transfer Mycah Pittman and legacy offensive tackle Julian Armella will take official visits to Tallahassee.

Noles247 reports FSU commit Daniel Lyons and high school teammate, 4-star DE Dante Anderson, will officially visit Tallahassee. I’ve long thought Anderson could be a backup plan if Marvin Jones Jr. decides to go elsewhere.

It’s a classic case of FSU coaches not getting caught off-guard. The thing to watch will be which other uncommitted players visit this weekend.

If the coaching staff gets them on campus this close to Early Signing Day? I like their chances of landing that player since it’s the last weekend available.
