Perception Of Their Own Program

I don’t understand why Miami fans think they will be great every year despite evidence to the contrary for the past two decades?

I mean, talk about how bad FSU football has been over the last four years but fail to realize they haven’t won anything. They only thing they have consistently done is make FSU their Super Bowl.

Miami played for one ACC title in 2017 and got obliterated, and have lost every bowl game they have played in that stretch.

This 2021 season is another prime example. They got destroyed by Alabama like everyone knew would happen.

They almost lost to Appalachian State, lost to Virginia and North Carolina, and won their next three games by a combined eight points. They could EASILY be 1-9 this year with their lone win against Central Connecticut.

At least FSU fans recognize they are in a rebuilding stage. It’s like Miami fans have been in a continuous rebuilding stage for two decades but believe they are signing closing papers on a mansion tomorrow.

They have more talent than Virginia and probably UNC overall too. However, the days of having more talent than FSU football are likely over after Saturday’s loss.
