FSU football head coach Mike Norvell mentioned the team would start awarding Tomahawk Stickers again after every win.

We began awarding these after the Notre Dame when their play was good enough for recognition.

FSU’s performance against Clemson was commendable, considering Clemson had a considerable edge from a talent perspective on both sides of the ball.

It was a game that saw FSU players on both sides of the ball displaying a ton of heart, but in the end, the game came down to who had the better play in the trenches. FSU’s defensive line held their own, but the difference was the depth.

I mentioned in the preseason about FSU’s starting 11 being fine, but the dropoff after that is a concern. The FSU offensive line couldn’t hold up, and Jordan Travis didn’t have his best game. What

I mean is he seemed indecisive about when he needed to run, opposed to when he needed to keep his eyes downfield to make a play. Overall, the team gave me two of the three things I wanted to see against Clemson.

They were physical and got off to a decent start on the road. However, it was not playing disciplined that ultimately cost them the win. We’re going to look at some players that contributed in a big way to Saturday afternoon and deserve Tomahawk stickers!
