FSU football: How Ed Orgeron departing LSU affects the Noles
By Kelvin Hunt
Final Thoughts
I never thought Ed Orgeron would be the head coach at LSU for a long time. His prior track record suggested that would be the case, and he simply caught lightning in a bottle in the 2019 season.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a drop-off with a program like that before. They went from arguably one of the best teams of all time to mediocre in a heartbeat.
I think it’ll be fun to watch Texas A&M fans have to worry about whether Jimbo Fisher will take the LSU job or not. FSU fans have seen the routine too many times:
I’m sure these weeks will feel like months as the season draws to a close. I’d pay attention to the recruits I mentioned to see if the Noles can get them back on campus. I think Armella plans to be at the Miami game, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Tolen made it since he’s from South Florida.
If they can get Law back on campus, that would be a great sign. If the Noles can close out the regular season by winning three or four more games? That would put them in a good position for at least one of these players at the very least.
