The FSU football offensive line has been a subject of discussion among Nole fans over the past few years.

It’s an area Mike Norvell and the coaching staff have identified as a major need, and they have put a lot of effort fulfilling it.

The commitment of Notre Dame transfer Dillan Gibbons and the Cain Madden social media campaign over the weekend are prime examples. Madden is set to visit Tallahasse the first week of June.

However, there are several offensive linemen in the 2022 recruiting class, who remain huge targets for the Noles.

One of those targets is four-star offensive tackle Qae’shon Sapp, who announced Wednesday he plans to visit Tallahassee twice in June.

Sapp has gone on record that he plans to announce his commitment on July 3rd. That would be two visits to Tallahassee a couple of weeks before that commitment date. The Noles hold all five 247 Crystal Ball predictions

FSU football coaches have done a great of recruiting Sapp, who holds 27 offers and hails from nearby Leesburg, Georgia, which is two hours north of Tallahassee.

A commitment from Sapp would be the second offensive tackle commit in the 2022 recruiting cycle along with three-star Aliou Bah.

FSU football hasn’t signed two high school offensive tackles in the same class since the 2019 recruiting cycle, but they are in a good position for a few more offensive linemen.

I’ve been saying it for the better part of the last few months, but this coaching staff knows what it’s doing on the recruiting trails.

I think they are capable of recruiting at an elite level, but it’s all going to come down to how much progress they can show on the field in 2021.

The Noles have the No. 10 class in the nation and No. 1 class in the ACC with nine commitments.
