Get and Stay In Shape

This aspect is something Kelvin Benjamin can control from the onset. Benjamin has always had issues with staying in shape or controlling his weight.

Many FSU fans know the first couple of years for Benjamin were iffy because he didn’t seem fully committed to putting in the work on and off the field.

However, he decided to make that change, and we got the 2013 season from Benjamin, and it was his catch against Auburn that gave the Noles their third National Title.

It was also Benjamin who told Jimbo Fisher Auburn’s coach Dameyune Craig(who used to coach at FSU) was telling Auburn’s defensive coordinator what they were running on offense.

Anyways, I always like to find a way to include that information for people that may not know it. It’s the only reason Auburn was ever in that game with arguably the greatest college football team of all time.

Benjamin’s struggle with his weight popped up again after he tore his ACL before the 2015 season. The time not being able to run or work out made it difficult to keep his weight down. He rebounded in 2016 but came back to camp out of shape before the 2017 season.

Kelvin Benjamin doesn’t look like he’s in great shape with the Giants right now. He could probably stand to lose a few more pounds.
