The New York Giants announced they signed former FSU football standout and NFL first-round draft pick Kelvin Benjamin Sunday.

The news broke a few days ago the former Nole would be working out for the Giants for a shot at reviving his career.

Kelvin Benjamin has been out of the NFL since the end of the 2018 season when he didn’t make the playoff roster of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Benjamin appeared in three regular-season games for the Chiefs and caught two passes for 26 yards.

Kelvin Benjamin’s career went off a cliff in a hurry it seems. His rookie year was great, but he only caught 50 percent of his targets. He suffered an ACL injury that cost him the 2015 season, but he rebounded nicely in 2016 with numbers similar to his rookie year. Again, he only caught 53 percent of his targets.

That led to his altercation after he was traded to the Buffalo Bills.

It stems from Kelvin Benjamin allegedly saying Cam Newton wasn’t accurate as a passer. It wasn’t a lie, as Newton was always around 60 percent as a passer and much more effective as a runner back then.

Maybe that contributed to him not caring or giving 100 percent effort? Either way, Kelvin Benjamin has a chance to revive his career with the NY Giants. Let’s take a look at three ways he can make that happen.
