Former FSU wide receiver Tamorrion Terry didn’t hear his name called during the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Georgia product wasn’t a player anyone would be taking in the early rounds, but a player with some upside and value if he was taken in the later rounds.

The Seattle Seahawks scooped Terry up like ice cream immediately after the NFL Draft concluded. He signed a three-year deal, but only $5,000 of the contract is guaranteed.

The rest of the contract is predicated on Terry avoiding getting cut and remaining with the franchise to receive the rest of the contract.

Terry’s base salary is $665,000 in Year 1 if he remains with the franchise as an undrafted free agent.

That salary increased to $825,000 in Year 2 and $940,000 in Year 3, which equates to a three-year deal of over 2.4 million dollars.

That would be a steal if Terry can find a way to put it together and make an impact with a team that only had two receivers with over 40 receptions in 2020.

Many analysts compare Terry to Seahawk’s wide receiver DK Metcalf, a second-round pick in 2019 and a Pro Bowler in 2020.

Here’s why I think the Seahawks may have gotten a steal in Tamorrion Terry.
